RARE LIVE RECORDING with guest appearances from Swedens Jazz & Soul elite.

Swedish GRAMMY nominated act Physics are releasing their first live album following the success of First Flight (2002) and the recent Influences (2008) together with side project Neolectrique (2005).

This is a collection from a live session made in Stockholm at Hotel Lydmar in 2003. Together they brought a full ensemble of musicians and singers. Alexandra Hamnede (Bliss) and Teresa Pozgaj are the main singers in this concert together with one of the biggest star on the Scandinavian Jazz scene, her alias is Grylan (you have to figure out yourself who it is , she features on four of the songs. They also invited a legend in the Swedish Soul/Funk scene Emrik, the lead singer from Stonefunkers. And together with ADL, the MC of Blacknuss Allstars and Goran Kajfes, they all made this to a very special moment for Physics.

The concert drawing on a host of different musical influences which takes us through a blend of funky electric beats, relaxing rhythm, jazzy vibes, smooth house and up-tempo Latin inspired House.

It features two exclusive Physics tracks that never been on the market before. Don’t Shut Me Up and Your Are The One. And not to forget mentioning the most selling singles out of Deeplay’s catalogue the uplifting Don’t Deny Me Love and summer-like Viva L’Amore.

A delight to listen to at any time of day, this compilation captures all of the essential flavours. An exploration of high tempo to slightly bouncy end-of-the-night chill-out, to smoother music you could fall asleep to or wake smiling to. Be it a great party track, a road-rage curer, to great music you can relax and unwind to after a hard day’s work. With a great blend of contemporary among eclectic, this is an album you will want to listen to again and again. To say that this album is eclectic is underselling it – this is a truly original work by truly talented artists.

Physics has featured on more than 150 world-wide compilations (i.e. Hotel Costes, various Hed Kandi and Café de Mar) and it’s still ticking. Their music been supported over the years by high profilers such as Francois Kevorkian, Masters & Work, Giles Peterson and Carl Craig just to name a few.
