Talented Chicago producer Chris E. Pants presents his disco credentials for inspection on this his debut release for File Under Disco.

1981 is an original slice of synth and piano led disco music that conjurs up memories of legendary producers like Patrick Adams, Shep Pettibone and Chaz Jankel amongst others.

Remixes come courtesy of fellow Chicago House producer The Black Madonna who holds onto the disco vibes of the original while heavily dubbing it out for the dance floor. While on the flip, Disco Deviants, Pete Herbert and Dicky Trisco, take a more Balearic inspired, hands-in-the-air disco trip that will please DJs and beachcombers alike.
