Hailing from Germany, Mountal is the pseudonym for two extremely talented and experienced producers who prefer to keep their identities secret for now. We are not sure how long that preference can last, especially if they release more dynamic work such as this Large debut entitled the Doma EP. Three tracks here that highlight enormous musicality and terrific arrangements with the title track being a real standout. This is pure, no-nonsense Deep House that gets better with each listen and establishes Mountal as a break out act of 2014.
