Seamless brings you the new release from Austrias' Def Mike. Mike has been active in the electronic music scene for nearly 20 years now, and has his own Monthly event in Vienna called ESSENTIAL. His guest include international artists such as Gramophonedzie, Kruse & Nurnberg, Pirupa, Tony Lionni, Uner, Delano Smith, Sergio Fernandez, Lee Van Dowski, Adam Port and Mark Reeve (to name only a few), supported by local DJ talents, have turned ESSENTIAL into a popular monthly hotspot. His release on Seamless is a top notch house track with touches of deep and a bouncing electronic bassline. An excellent vocal hook is worked into the mix and the production is intricate and arranged in fine fashion. There is a secondary track on this release from Def Mike called Reborn. This is a smooth deep house track rather reminiscent of some of Funk De Void tracks. With a journey like progression in the arrangement, vocal cuts drifting in the background, this then uses synths and another great vocal hook to progress through the track.



On the remix front we have brought in Maximiljan. The German has a string of very strong releases on labels such as Mobilee, Leena Music, Noir and Leibe Detail and is also well known for his productions with Tapesh. His take on Inside is a superb deep house trip. Using stripped parts of the vocal, driving old school flavoured house beats and a melody line that just instantly stands out with the swing that is used on it. This is defo one for the underground and true house music heads.
