Roy Porter is best known for playing an important part of the Bebop movement in the 1940s. He had played with guitarist Teddy Bunn and Howard McGhee as well as Charlie Parker on the now classic Dial session on 28 March 1946. In 1971 he released "Jessica", the debut album under "Roy Porter Sound Machine". We found it a good idea to put the vocal and instrumental versions back to back on one 45rpm single. Especially because neither of the two have ever been released on 45, until now! So here you go, and be quick! 500 copies pressed.
Do not miss the two long-players "The Story of Roy Porter Sound Machine" (TRCD/LP-9018) and "Roy Porter Sound Machine - Generation '94" (TRLP-9028), both available on Tramp Records.
