put on your dancing shoes, because Matteo Luis is back with a release on WellDone! Music. The soon-to-be Berlin based young gun presents himself in old form. With his danceable, yet musically appealing productions he already managed to establish his very own style and shows his ability yet again. The title track 'Tell Me' also features some raspy vocals by Andrew Westermann. Paired with a chunky bass line and some groovy drums, this would make a worthy single release. But as you know us, we got him to do another one. This time without vocals, but a little more emphasis on the floor. 'Wait Why' is pretty straight forward: A deep and heavy bass line, oldschool percussion with the typical Matteo Luis synths and stabs.
As remixers we have recruited some real gems. First of is Jonas Woehl, a young producer who already gets his deserved respect for his sophisticated productions and on his remix he shows us why. He creates a little more dark and drifting version of the track and takes it to a whole different territory. Then we have Björn Störigs fantastic work on 'wait, why'. Most of you should already be familiar with him, but by singing his own vocals on the remix he shows us that he is far more than an excellent producer. Last but not least we got a young cat that is making a lot of waves with his very own unusual style. He goes by the name of Bryan Kessler and after the very first seconds of his remix for 'Tell Me' you will get why. He somehow manages to trip down the song to its' core elements while keeping the track interesting. Heavy drums and playful percussion lead you through the song and keep you grooving.
All in all this is a round comeback from our boy and you can only be exited for what he's got in his pockets
