Some will say that ATTS track Victory is not a typical Days Of Being Wild release. That's probably true as we don't usually venture into filtered disco territories… But here you go, when you fall in love with a track, you just do, and there's no point in resisting, so this time we go disco.
ATTS is an East London electronic music producer and promoter of seminal club night Oonst with a penchant for the original.
ATTS has played alongside Adam Port, Ian Pooley, Marcus Marr and Nick Höppner to name a few and you could describe his sound as some sort of fusion between the fringe sounds of nu-disco, techno and deep house.
If you don't dance to Victory you are probably dead. The track's infectious, old school disco samples and piano house riff should send all cheese alarm in the red, but don't, thanks to a great groove and ATTS natural feel for build and drop. Victory will bring the summer back to keep you warm this coming winter.
Street and urban influences have infiltrated ATTS second track on offer here. Probably conceived after a late night in East London "Opel" is very nocturnal, and ambient tinted with its pads and delicate synth sequences but still sustained by a steady snappy beat and vocal cut ups.

No need to introduce this immensely talented producer, capable of blending psychedelic / punk / disco and techno in one record without you noticing what's happening to your feet.
Marcus doesn't disappoint here. His remix boasts the biggest bass line we have heard in a long time. Retaining very little from the original, the South London producer takes us on a dirty psychedelic underground trip. The remix is constructed around the withdrawal and drop of the said baseline with some seriously strong repercussion on the dancefloor.

The UK producer made two dubs of his remix for Victory.
Reminiscent of some of Andrew Weatherall productions, the "Feedback dub" is constructed over a reggae / ska bass groove and minimal post-punk drum machine while delays, space echoes effects and guitars echo on top.
The Kalidasa dub 2 version boasts a more New Wave / post punk influence with a driving bass line and delayed synths sequences. Repetitive, minimal and dark.
