Seamless Recordings brings you the first of two high quality EP's from Norway's John Moss.
Following on from the success of his first compilation album "Ritmo De La Noche" on Phonetic Recordings last year, John went on to launch the album at the legendary Bora Bora Ibiza where flocks of party-goers and holiday-makers joined him for a one- off party on the beach.
With recent and forthcoming releases on The Shapeshifters' label "Love Inc Music", fast-rising Canadian label Phoenix Music, and of course ourselves Seamless. He mixed and compiled Best Nights Ever Ibiza Boat Party this summer and joined us in July to play at Seamless Sessions in London to celebrate our 10th anniversary, with a boat party on the Thames, before we took over Pacha London, where John played his debut set at the world renowned Club.
Over recent years John's profile has continued to rise. He has received regular support on his releases from the likes of Mark Knight, Laurent Garnier, John Digweed, Nic Fanciulli, Martijn ten Velden, MC Flipside and Fedde Le Grand to name a few.
John tours internationally as a DJ, with a 5 week tour of Australia and shows across Europe including Space, Es Paradis, and Cafe Mambo in Ibiza. He is one of Norway's most popular DJs and has held residencies at huge Norway festivals including Quart Festival in Kristiansand and Tryvann in Oslo.
For his release on Seamless, we have the Freakin EP, which features, Freakin & Damn Thing.
Freakin is a heavyweight deep and techy track with crisp production. Cut up vocals, incidental off hats, beats and stabs all combine with an infectious rolling bass line groove.
Second up is Damn Thing, with a tech house vibe and swirling dark synth chords, it drops with a phat bass line thats gleaming with a brilliant cosmic sheen.
