2013 saw a trio of EPs from Bradford residents, Dronelock (Martin Cartledge and Alexander Church) on the revitalised Weekend World label, which gathered support from media and DJs alike including Surgeon, Lucy (Stroboscopic Artefacts), Lakker, Inigo Kennedy, Pearson Sound, Adam Beyer, Marcel Dettmann, Detroit Grand Pubahs and many more.

The third of these EPs featured 'Clusters', which became one of its many highlights. As Mixmag said in their December issue: 'there's a depth that's impossible to resist, whether you're listening to it on a set of headphones or a proper sound system - a couple of minutes in and you're away, spiralling out of control deep into a black hole. To the uninitiated it may not sound as though much is going on, but pay close attention and you'll her a myriad of sounds working away in the pitch-black caverns of this sombre roller.'

Moving on to 2014, Dronelock now start their own label, Shadow Story, which is a joint venture between themselves and Serbian duo Ontal (Boris Noiz and Dekode), launching with remixes of 'Clusters'.

Mark Broom needs no introduction so it is only fitting that the EP starts with his beat-laden remix, which has already been featured in Surgeon's latest Rinse FM radio show. Listen back here:

Remixes follow from Sweden's Adam Rivet (Skudge / Kontra-Musik) and label buddies, Ontal, as well as Dronelock's original version.
