Hauser/Quaid is Brooklyn-based musician Greg Zifcak. He has produced under many aliases over the years, most notably as one half of the Bay Area experimental band Eats Tapes, and is very involved in Brooklyn's dance scene performing live as Greg Z and as a Tunnel Vision resident DJ, alongside Ital and Lori Napoleon at the infamous Bossa Nova Civic Club. Meli Gala is his first solo release, which features four diverse original tracks made up of crunchy sampling, wild FM modulation and hypnotic female vocals.
