After a great summer of support for it's inclusion on the 2009 WMC sampler, the full mix package is ready!It was back in March this year when this release first saw the light of day with its inclusion on the One51 WMC sampler. Ayo Oyerinde (B-Ayce/Duffnote) provided the Ayce DJ’s Original Riomix which was an instant hit across many a club floor and radio playlist. Paul Lee’s performance on vocals is sublime and the band personnel displaying some highly accomplished musicianship throughout. So with this tremendous support throughout what has been an eventful summer (in and out of the studio!!) the final mix package is ready. Not to complicate things with a long stream of mixes, we’ve kept things simple with the remix package. Label man, Richard Earnshaw supplies what can only be described as a timeless classic in his vocal mix, gritty live drums, horns, solos, his trademark keys, a welcome return to the sound that many Earnshaw fans have been waiting for, for a while! His Dub mix retains subtly rearranges things, retaining the vibe and stripping out the vocal. So with all the dreary negativity served up by the media these days, here’s a large dose of positivity, press play and (hopefully!) enjoy the vibe....
