Swiss producer Ripperton’s ‘Searchin 4 You’ is perfectly in keeping with the tone of the DFTD label. With a moody and almost melancholic tone the dubby quality of the track maintains the dancefloor feel without ever going too dark. His previous album ‘A Little Part of Shade’ shared this reflective outlook, however was perhaps suited to home listening, rather than this more club oriented but still evocative track.
