Original Bristol producer/musician (and tap dancer) Crackazat aka Ben J Worrall has something very special going on. Its an album that combines electronically enhanced house and downtempo beats with soulful and jazzy melodies. Imagine a cocktail of jazzy Underground Resistance or Floating Points blended with a soulful UK garage mentality. Overall Crescendo is an album that sounds very UK but at the same time crosses all kinds of musical borders to a wider international audience that doesn't mind joining the musical dots.
