Following on from his debut self-titled album, Danish House extraordinaire Noir provides us with the record%u2019s second single, %u2018Let It Go%u2019, featuring vocals from Caitlin. The single features a remix from Stuttgart%u2019s Johannes Brecht, and two new versions from Noir himself, in the form of a %u2018Raw Club Cut%u2019 and a thumping Techno remix.
The Raw Club Cut gets down to business with Caitlin%u2019s fervent vocal sitting on top of the hypnotic, stabbing lead line that keeps the rhythm flowing through the entirety of the track. Pulsing pads continue to build emotion that build to the song%u2019s conclusion.
Johannes Brecht follows a different direction with a chilled beach jam, eminating a laid back bassline, chugging percussion and down tempo piano chords, topped by a warm pitched down vocal line.
The single is concluded by Noir%u2019s %u2018Long Gone%u2019 Techno remix, an intelligent piece with attitude. Mechanical synth lines go up against the vocals, now chopped and twisted to reflect the vibe, all above the pounding kick drum.
