This month we welcome one our favorite producers in the game to the Soulsupplement family…HapKido. As most people know he’s been on fire and his first Soulsupplement release “Soul Statement” is no exception. This two track jack-a-licious Ep will definitely get you out of your seat and onto the floors moving your body.

HapKido gets our blood pumping and our body jackin with his original mix of “House It Up”. This is number is one part funk, one part house and two parts pure cardio baby. He lays down a jackin rhythm section and an infectious guitar line that set’s the mood of this one. With the mood properly set our man HapKido drops in a funky bass line and a grip of vocal runs that all work perfectly together.

Rounding out this banging Ep is HapKido’s aptly named “The Funk Is Alive and Well”. A four on the floor number with a bass line that will make you think you’re back in the 70’s. He drops in some vocal stabs here and there along with some nice guitar lines that really steal the show on this track.

Once again we want to welcome HapKido team Soulsupplement and after this Ep it’s a good chance you’ll be seeing more of HapKido’s music on Soulsupplement.
