Motech LTD Created by Motech Records Co-Founders Franki Juncaj and Shawn Snell, Motech LTD will exist as an expanded outlet for both releases and stylistic exploration from new and established label artists. Built upon the same no boundaries foundation as it's original imprint, Motech LTD will feature releases from Detroit as well as the label's worldwide network of producers, associates and remixers.
Detroit Techno Militia's T.Linder returns to Motech LTD with the Running Textures EP. Using the classic sign off from the Metro Detroit early-1980s television show "The Scene" as inspiration, Linder collaborated with long time Detroit vocalist Billy Love (aka Bill Beaver) to create "Sugar Sugar Salt Salt." The track is a dance floor pounding trip back to the dance line on "The Scene." The B-side "Flint & Steel" is a classic Detroit throwback with subtle elements of Chicago Acid mixed in.
DJ 3000 provides a remix of "Sugar Sugar Salt Salt" that perfectly harnesses the funk and soul of "The Scene" adding a melodic bass line and prodding synth progressions to elements of the original production.
