With recent releases featuring legends of the scene, Robert Hood, D-Knox, Dan Curtin and Paul Mac it's now time for EPM Music to focus on a newer artist who deserves a spotlight, Italy's Francesco Terranova.
Starting in the mid 90's and using the name Francesco, he was a recurring guest DJ for the pioneering Techno collective, Open Mindz, where he had supporting sets alongside the likes of Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, Surgeon, Dave Clarke and Luke Slater to name just a few. Today Francesco Terranova is producing for labels such as Bulletdodge, Renesanz, Stick Records and De-Konstrukt, while continuing to DJ across clubs and festivals.
Both tracks are deep and shimmering percussive Techno that show off Francesco Terranova's signature style. `Magnetica' layers a heavy bass and metallic cymbals under its ethereal melody, while `Recovery' with it's more subdued opening bars gradually launches into a revolving groove.
