CHRIS HUNTER & PHIL ROSE, collectively known as JAEGEROSSA are two house music stalwarts hailing from the Northwest of England who have been methodically building a name for themselves.
Their “Move Your Body” track on Favouritizm was world premiered by Pete Tong on his Radio 1 Essential Selection and was supported by a huge array of DJs across the globe including Grant Nelson, Hex Hector and Horse Meat Disco. Their recently finished remix on Grammy award winning Robert Clivilles’ (of C&C Music Factory fame) comeback single “Set Me Free” has received plaudits from the likes of Lenny Fontana, Neil Pierce, Hector Romero, and CJ Mackintosh.
Both have a rich musical heritage. Chris Hunter’s former post as label manager of seminal house label Shaboom Records found him working with people like Josh Wink, DJ Sneak, Doc Martin and Blakkat on a daily basis. He’s DJ’d throughout the world, as well as at events in the UK for Cream, Bed & Gatecrasher which helped build a huge following at one of the biggest nights the North West of England has ever seen ’Feel,’ where he held a residency for the better part of a decade.
Phil Rose has been DJing since the late eighties and is the creator of one of the best known Northern UK club nights ’Edit.’ He comes from a family of musicians and over the last 20 years has shared the stage with a host of industry heavyweights such as Joey Negro, Danny Rampling, Chicane, Greg Wilson and Hot Toddy & Crazy P.
Together their knowledge of house, disco funk and soul brings something different to every DJ set and production they’re involved in. Jaegerossa are without doubt a front seat act perfectly poised in the resurgence of real dance music!
TIMMY VEGAS is most famously known for his Soul Central house version of “STRINGS OF LIFE” which has become a house music Anthem from Ibiza to Miami. The track went top ten in the UK & won an NMC award for more than 10000 UK radio plays following its release on the highly regarded label Defected Records. It was championed by The Godfather of house Frankie Knuckles, Kerri Chandler and just about anybody who is anybody in house.
He was there from the start, attending Big House (Giant Step) back in NYC in 1988 and DJing and spearheading the House and Rave culture at PANDEMONIUM , TIMEOUT and other UK clubs.
His vinyl releases started on New York labels such as respected Masters at Work KEN LOU RECORDS, HENRY STREET, SOUNDMEN ON WAX, KING STREET and UK Labels such as DEFECTED and MOS. He soon made his name as a respected producer and musician. He has been remixed by Osunlade, supported by Pete Tong / radio 1 and done re--edits for Frankie Knuckles ...the list goes on......
Being an established musician he got the calling from Rock Legend, Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant and went touring as part of his band for 3 years.
Timmy also worked with contemporary dances companies and has composed music for TV. He is still producing and DJs worldwide.
