Deep & Soul Project is a collective of soulful artist that gave life to this exclusive musical pearl on GKF Records.The aptly named Deep and Soul Project deliver a release to bring some warmth to even the coldest winter evenings. With smooth soulful grooves and vocals from Danny, "This Light (We've Seen)" is brought to you with no fewer than ten versions. This time around we've enlisted the help of Patrick Green, Steve Paradise, House Device, DJ Jogador, QuestionmarQ, Dee C'rell and MoWz & Mikula to provide you with the widest possible selection of mixes. While these mixes are varied, the integrity of the "Original" shines through in them all, thanks in no small part to Danny's excellent voice.

DEEP & SOUL PROJECT : Born in the end of 2004 by the hands of Portuguese duo Carlos Vargas (Dj) and Jair Deodato (Guitarist), the Deep & Soul Project is above all a musicians and Djs collective that spread their word through live jams of House Music mixed in live PA with instruments, in a perfect union of vibes and melody. Working pretty much on the free-style way on stage, with pure improvisation under original and edited 4/4 tracks, their sessions started to get noticed in all Portugal as meaning of good taste, vibes and glamour. Supported in Jazz, Disco, Funk and Soul influences, their music started to collect more and more musicians and followers. With Artists like Earth, Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin Chacka Khan, Earl Klugh, George Benson, Marvin Gaye, James Inghram, George Duke, Stevie Wonder or Lee Ritenour among others in their mind and getting in touch with the work of producers like Simon Grey, Richard Earnshaw, MAW, Raw Artistic Soul, FEET, Tortured Soul, Justin Michael or Groove Junkies could only bring something good, and things started to get more serious and fun. The Deep & Soul Project currently works directly with around 40 musicians, with instruments as Guitar, Sax, Bass, Upper Bass, Piano, Flute, Percussions, Trumpet, vocals and many more, with the concept being supported in Portugal and abroad. In 2008 they hit the international status, with a live presentation in London after guest appearences in the best Portuguese venues. With the growing human material that was created around the project as time went by, production was now the logical road to spread the word. With hard dedication and help from the members of the project, some tracks where build, with "This Light (we've seen)" to be the first one to see the light of day on GKF Records. Some more tracks are in the studio, being worked and waiting for their right time. In the meanwhile, Vargas and Deodato keep on walking their travel, and with the help of everyone who walk by their side, are trying to show a positive and groovy vibe, always working for the music, like it should be with everyone who is involved in it.
