Crop Over (formerly called "Harvest Home") is a traditional harvest festival which began in Barbados, having had its early beginnings on the sugar cane plantations during the colonial period. The crop over tradition began in 1688, and featured singing, dancing and accompaniment by bottles filled with water, shak-shak, banjo, triangle, fiddle, guitar, and bones. Other traditions included climbing a greased pole, feasting and drinking competitions. Originally a celebration signaling the end of the yearly sugar cane harvest, it has since evolved into Barbados' biggest national festival similar to Carnival in Brazil and Trinidad.

The Dance - MoveSo is a tribute to the festival loaded with good vibes and a party atmosphere, a Deep House track with festive afro overtones, piercing percussions layered over harmonious beats and a catchy hook complemented by the smooth enchanting vocals of Barbadian vocalist Komi, guaranteed to ignite the urge to move your waist line. Komi, who recently made his house music debut in the Top 100 Soulful House charts with the track 'Wondering' released on Hood Natives Records will continue to impress house enthusiasts: A rhythmic club-banger, infused with 'Flavors of the Caribbean' and the 'Spirit of Africa' will bring the dance floor alive with it's festive sensual commands. Yet another successful collaboration from the Pioneers of Afro Deep House in the Caribbean, #WeJusVibe.

Reviews & Feedback

Spirit Of House Review - (Switzerland)
"JusVibe Records have been blessing us with nothing but mind-blowing dance floor gems, without a doubt "The Dance - Move So" by Blade Deep and Master Fale continues this tradition. Simply put, the deeper than DEEP spell binding rhythms together with the grand jazzy keys, splendiferous chords and Komi's seductive vocals are guaranteed to put a spell on you. In other words, "The Dance - Move So" is a superb Deep House cut perfect for late night play..."
