The outcome of reuniting Out Of Sorts & Uone after a short
stint of solo adventures is before us. Aptly titled
‘Peeks & Deeps’, these prime-cut, medium-rare sweat inducers reveal
just how gutsy these collaborators are willing to go. Not only
does the name hint at the driving, low-slung rumbles that simmer
then explode in both tracks, it’s also a metaphor to the artists
behind it: Uone, with his knack of bringing the height of colour
to any production, and Out Of Sorts, the mystery men
below the surface who bring the slick with every click.

THE PSYCHIC CIRCUS

Like a flare, inspiration erupts brightly before dissolving into nothing.
Illusive and temporary, it cannot be caged, but it can be summoned.
This is where The Psychic Circus comes in, playing muse
to the misfits we’ve come to know as U One & Out Of Sorts.
U One is both the ring leader and the clown - drawing on that rare
form of magic that lets us play and be played with, while
Out Of Sorts evoke a psychic entity known as The
Imaginary Friends; silently guiding the sound with flashes
of underworld visions and future predictions.
Combined, the U One & Out Of Sorts collaboration makes
The Psychic Circus a musical hologram of illusion, magic and mystery.
