With success across the board in their own right on Black Butter & Mindset the pair join forces for their first joint venture on the Materials imprint. "Convo" is a big room arpeggiated techno heater, pairing emotive vocals with an air of darkness that fits perfectly with the Materials aesthetic. "Hudson Moore" uses clanging metallic percussion and rattling sub notes to meld grime influences and techno mentality into a tough roller that was built for the club. "Sweat" rounds off this broad debut EP, a sultry roller that grooves a simple melody over tight 808 beats creating something raw & melodic.
