Blames Brown’s Nylon Trax debut EP “Profunda Encontros Meditação Música” is directly inspired by his frequent travels to Brazil a still developing country that was also the destination to a larger number of enslaved Africans. While amongst the these resilient peoples Blames noticed that no matter how dire the situation Afro Brazilians have a certain love for life, expression, culture and a support for their country even in the face of wealth disparity and the lack of resources.

This EP features “Até o Poço Seca” which includes a sidereal Jaymz Nylon Afrotech Remix and the Bossa Nova inspired “Brasilia”. Blames Brown’s track “Até o poço seca' translates to mean “press on until the well runs dry” which is often said as Afro Brazilians continue the fight for freedom and equality. Brown is greatly moved, humbled and inspired by the spirit of the Brazilian people whom preserve and make the best of their situation believing that it is very important to have a message and meaning when it comes to artistic expression. Blames Brown says, “This is a small stitch in the great tapestry of Life”…
