Next up on Marinated Music we proudly present our good friends Rick and Matt better know as the Corduroy Mavericks. Their two track Whatsabi EP is a solid example of why this duo is continually topping charts and receiving worldwide support. Track 1 titled "Lezduit" is a funky tune laced with snapping drums and rocking grooves. The chopped vocals and walking bassline make this number move with class. Laced with jazzy guitar licks, trippy flutes, and warm synth tones, djs and dancers alike will be hooked to the riding rhythm. Track 2 is called "miss you" and it starts with a funky clave lick and thumping kick which leads to melodic chord progressions and whipping chimes. Soon the jazzy tune breaks into a horn section sure to captivate the listener. This second tune has slick vocals and arpeggiating synths licks that stay true to the C-Mavs groove. MM012 is another great example of our love for the underground house sound that is complex and diverse.
