Positive Reinforcement

Mathew Anderson

Supremus Records
SUPREMUS003 | 2015-11-09
For our third instalment, we are heading to Seattle, home of Jimi Hendrix, great coffee, bad weather and awesome producer Mathew Anderson.

Here at Supremus, we've been big fans of this gentleman ever since his debut "The Flammable EP" on Uniting Souls a few years ago (under his Not Boyfriend Material moniker), as well as his more recent Get Physical release, as part of Pezzner's "Barcelona Gets Physical 2015" compilation.

Mr Anderson has delivered us 3 beautifully crafted Deep House cuts - Positive Reinforcement offers up punchy drums, a rolling bass line, a catchy synth riff and is a perfect set opener. Drop The Drop on the other hand is a moody track with beautiful synth programming and clever cut-up vocal work. This one gets the remix treatment from label boss Giom, offering more of a late night, percussion-ridden number while keeping the mood intact. Finally, we close off the EP with We Hurt Each Other, a classic-sounding, end-of-the-night anthem that we have tried and tested on dance-floors all over the world.

We've very pleased to welcome Mr Anderson to the Supremus family and hope you like his music as much as we do.
