Tarnished Tracks is a UK based record label by Dale Middleton. The label is forged in Middleton's own imprint and has been established to act as a platform to showcase his favourite artists from around the world. As you would expect from Dale's previous work, Tarnished Tracks will know no boundaries; releasing tracks with genres spanning from driving Techno, to Melodic House. Tarnished Tracks ethos is just about quality underground music.
And no better way to launch than with label head honcho releasing the first release, and with homage to the label itself, we start with 'Tarnished'. A brooding techno workout, with muted stabs and swirling and whirling noises, creating a tension building soundscape thats right on the money. This punchy affair really ticks the boxes, deep and moody yet powerful enough to cause mayhem on the dance floor.
'Assonance' really shows off the labels no boundaries ethos, as this beautiful melodic gem guides you to a dreamy warm pad laden, arpy melodic hug of a tune. One of those tracks that could easily be an end of night smile inducing moment - and we like it!
