He would later seize the international spotlight with his energizing remixes for artists like Crystal Castles, Givers, BT, Dragonette and M83 that soared up Hype Machine's Most Popular Songs chart galvanizing the electronic dance music illuminati.

Melding influences from 80's synth-pop and electro, classic 90's house, techno and atmospheric ambient, Alcala's rich sound is propulsive, heady and inescapably melodic.
