With techno in his blood, France’s Peter Cruch engineers the sounds in his mind with his eclectic mix of hardware and soft synths. His latest EP, Project T is a collection of funky techno inspirations, each one that develops from the start to the finish of each track, adding and subtracting elements as the pieces progress.

Reverb B is the housiest of the release, a pure garage number with a superlative minimal groove, that stays subtle but really drives home. Moon People combines a tight tropical vibe with 303 love to open up the room. Brocar takes the sound deeper, layering introspection over sub frequencies, whilst title track, Project T is the darkest cut of the bunch, skipping off-beat fizzing hats over it’s underground backbone.
