'Nousk' or the crunchy sound of music on vinyl is the spirit of NN: The imperfections of vinyl give character to the sound and NN nurtures this in his music creation. With a love of everything from Jazz through to House, inspirations come from the sounds of Herbie Hancock to Gill Scott-Heron, from Kerri Chandler to James Brown. Nouskynousk is the mixture of different musical sensibilities and crate digging associated with the medium that is vinyl.
