Cenote starts the summer season off with the Mind Meld EP from Vancouver's Jay Tripwire. Tripwire is heralded as a pioneer of house music and is one of the genre's most prolific artists. The three original tracks are nothing short of progressive masterpieces, and ring in at about 10 minutes each. A chapter is contained within each song but the story is told over the course of the EP.

Alignment of the 7 Moons is the most club ready track, ushering in memories of true progressive house sounds from the earlier part of the 2000s. Komposition is authentically 'deep house' and is a perfect laid back roller. Scissors completes the set - a dark tune that weaves in and out of hypnotic techno.
