Lee Walker vs DJ Deeon's 'Freak Like Me' has been the big story of the season so far. It’s a record that has successfully crossed over from being a fledgling underground production to the soundtrack to the summer.
Ever since Ben Klock introduced the record into his set, then Marco Carola played it at the Music On closing party in Ibiza, it was obvious this was something a little bit special. Add to that some vocals from the incredible Katy B and MNEK, plus further support from the likes of Dixon, Disclosure, The Martinez Bros, Loco Dice and many more, it’s now reached national radio playlists including BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra.
The next natural step is this package of remixes, re-working the track to reach more ends of the dance spectrum. Sitting alongside the Radio Edit and Extended Mix, the Disco Demolition Remix takes the track in an unexpected funk direction, whilst a storming, jacked-up, bass-injected remix from Culture Shock proves once again how much this track has to offer.
