This is a serious no holds barred groovy number that takes its influences from the sounds of James Brown, Cameo, Mandrill and many other funk stars of their time all rolled into one. From the moment the record starts it is sure to get you going. Its 70's porn scene sounding 'whah whah' Bass, Clave and 'Changa Chang' Guitar, you know the the rhythm section is tight and in the pocket. Coupled with great melodic lead lines and sleazy vocal on top, there is not much that can go wrong with this one. Time to dust off those old platform boots and and bell end jeans because the soul train has certainly come to town!
