The Eryn label strides confidently on here with a fourth firing EP. This one comes from Spanish star Samuel Dan, an exciting producer who puts out his dance missiles on labels like Dirtybird, Suara and OFF Recordings. A great remix from UK talent Matt Fear seals the package.

First up, Dan leads with SONNOC, a pumping house track with old school vibes in the kicking drums and bubbling bass. Robot vocals and squiggling stabs bring a loose energy to the cut and mean it will do real damage on the floor. Smonka is six minutes of thundering house with turbulent bass hits, steamy vocals and real groove in the percussion. Checkmate is the last original and again looks backwards for its inspiration. This one is tinged with a throwback disco style thanks to its colourful melodic arps and cosmic synth explosions. Nite Grooves man and world touring DJ Matt Fear adds his own spin to this one and flips it into a menacing, gritty house cut that has blurts of machine noises, dark vocals and a creepy atmosphere all adding up to one hell of a track.
