Leeknotic real name Leroy Tariro Mhike was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. He is a Producer/dj/singer who has lived and plied his trade in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana. Though now based in Bulawayo he has performed and lived in Southern Africa's major cities like Bulawayo, Harare, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Gaborone and Francistown wooing diverse crowds of Southern Africa. He is well versed and sings in major languages of the region including Shona, Tswana, Sotho, Zulu, Ndebele, Xhosa and English.
The multi talented Leeknotic has worked with various artists within the region producing tracks like 'Hamba Ashi' and 'Ngifuna Wena' which saw his works topping charts on stations in RB2 and Yarona FM in Botswana
In January 2015, he signed publishing deal with Afro Platinum Music (Afrika) where he started crafting a new unique afro house sound identity while understudying the music business within the Southern African region. In 2016 he signed a full 360 deal which saw him do collaborations with
some of Zimbabwe’s artists including TKP, Skaiva, Sandra Ndebele, Mzoe7, Skaiva, Ulethu & TRP to mention a few.
Some of his great career highlights includes producing TKP's Afro House Gospel hit single 'Pfugama Unamate' which stayed for several weeks on Zimbabwe's lagest radio station Star FM gospel greats.
2016 also saw the production of his current hit single 'Zumba' that has topped the charts in Botswana immediately after its release on Botswana TV show ‘Flava Dome’ where he featured Dj Guyvos. This song was also launched at Botswana's annual music festival where he perfomed alongside various regional artists like Black motion, Naak Musiq, Dj Gouveia, Dj Kuchi and judgement yard. This hit single is soon to be released in his home country of Zimbabwe.
In line with his label objectives Leeknotics is strategically being developed as a versatile regional and international player. There is huge interest in his unique afrohouse sound which is rich in various cultures, influences and languages of Southern Africa.
