In this new year that we are welcoming, the stars got aligned for us to receive, here on earth, a new release by Savant Fair. “Trip Thru The Cosmic Belt” shows us a more ethereal side of house, in a journey through three original tracks and a remix from Discos Extendes - collective formed by the three faces of the label. With an irrepressible rhythmic construction, this release, which marks the premiere of Savant Fair on Extended Records, also captives through the multiple musical universes present on the tracks. Starting from the base, ”Prospero” take us through a spacial crusade where we keep feeling that we are about to arrive to the destination, but yet we continue to be surprised with the things that we encounter in this journey. “Winds Of Daphnis” is the second chapter of the trip: eight minutes of a ascending and elaborated tension that culminates in “Saturn Tides”, the last original track. Here the artist deftly handles the strict acid bass line with sweet but assertive melodies, to tell us that we’ve arrived to the destination, but that the trip continues. A positive sense of ambiguity. To celebrate the new year of releases, we bet on the new project formed by the three masterminds behind the label to remix the track “Saturn Tides”. With three musical identities so far from one another - that get together for the same love - Discos Extendes join here with the same purpose, to dissect the samples from the original track and recreate it in a raw interpretation, turned to the dance floor.
