Vanilla Ace and I were label mates for a time at Andre Crom's OFF Recordings and since then we've always kept in touch. His peak time party bangers aren't the kind of tracks you'd usually associate with Glasgow Underground but every now and again he delivers a proper underground gem (like with his "Librium" track on Great Stuff a little while back).

"What We Gonna Do?" is one of those; a raw, jacking jam filled with horn stabs and funk samples that you shoul file next to big tunes from Raffa FL, Sante & Detlef.

The samples reminded me of Armand Van Helden's "The Funk Phenomena" and that got me thinking about other favourite tracks of mine from then like Mike Delgado's "Byrdman's Revenge" and Dj Sneak's "You Can't Hide From Your Bud". So after an afternoon of listening through all of that, my remix came out like this...
