With earlier releases on Richie Hawtin’s Minus and Plus 8 as well as Get Physical, Chillin enlists Alejandro Sab to rework Maurizio & Danyelino’s ‘Manila’. With a hypnotic tonic of percussion that seems coded with ancient communication, Sab delivers.
Imagine laying on the beach in Miami, after an all-nighter, looking through a pair of rose-tinted sunglasses at the clouds floating across the sky - the soundtrack playing in the background… yeah, that’s Troncoso’s rendition of Pink Clouds.
Rounding out the EP, Dam Paul from Ibiza obviously knows what he’s doing as he commands the helm and straight up rips a dancefloor filler for the peak hours.
