African House Movement winter release...Hibernation 2017 in Africa and we are very happy to be bringing you this release because it touches a part of us that reminds us of simpler days, cooking on the fire, hiding a bread pot under the coals till the morning to wake up the to warn fresh bread...days when going to see girls meant you were gonna pass by the river and splash around.

Almost 4 years of waiting has been worth the wait, after countless delays and waiting for the right moment, we have African Spirituals, some things take time and the time has been good too, we just couldn’t have it sounding any other way.

Hibernation 2017, it's been a tough winter and the crew at AHM felt that it would be a great time to release this soulful spiritual afro album, with all the usual suspects at African House Movement and yet another feature for J Whistler a great talent worth watching.
