Globetrotting DJ Roog has been travelling far and wide on deck duty in recent months. Fortunantly for fans of Hardsoul Pressings, he keeps his A&R hat on at all times. On a recent tour of Australia for top UK house label Defected he unearthed this little gem. Entitled "Give In", the track is the original work of South Melbourne 's Quazimodo Sound Consortium. Now the track has undergone that magic Hardsoul touch for release on Holland 's hottest house label, with Roog and Greg's distinct and classy remix expected to catapult the track into the big time. Quazimodo Sound Consortium are DJ Mark John and partners Danny and Dave Dharumasena. The trio first got together with top vocalist Abbey Joyce for the stunning "You Give me Everything" (feat Simon Grey) on L.A.Y records. The track was released in Australia and an album quickly followed. "Give In" is the first single from the LP and made it into the top ten in the Australian dance charts recently. With a European release now slated for "Give In", and the inclusion of this sublime Hardsoul mix, the track already created a buzz with dance music hot shots who received it in maimi. Even before its release the track has been requested for the following comps; disco kandi (Hed Kandi), st Tropez Summer Clubber 2007 (Clubstar), DJ Pippi & Jamie Lewis In The Mix 2007 (Clubstar), Pacha London vs. Pacha Ibiza (Pacha).
