The boutique record label soWHAT Records celebrates 10 years of releases in 2017. The label was established in 2007 by UPZ with its main focus being quality over quantity, releasing hand picked singles on the afro, soulful & melodic spectrum of house music.

Artists & vocalists artists that have productions released on soWHAT Records include the cream of SA house music, amongst others: Black Motion, Black Coffee, Cuebur, UPZ, Qness, Harrison Crump, Dahl Hates Disco, DJ Ganyani, BlackwHole, Mariechan, Sio, Lady X, Maleh plus internationals Yotam Avni, Rancido, Kafele, Jocelyn Mathieu, Lifford and more.

To commemorate 10 years of the label we have put together two compilations, one with the focus being afro house, and the other the focus being more soulful house.
