Phunky Rabbit Records are proud to announce the second solo single by Paul Davis (PD & Cousin Tony), 'Shit Weather'. Paul as i am sure you all know by now was the original keyboard player in the Manchester band 'The Happy Mondays' who had many big hits in the early 90's. His first solo single 'You Drive Me Crazy', was very well received last year on Phunky Rabbit and here he gives us the perfect follow up. The original version is not a house track but more of an Indie Dance/Nu-Disco style but is very hard to nail into a specific genre. I have included this on the release but there is a special house mix of the track to bring it in line with the usual style of the label. Although Paul is primarily a keyboard player and his unmistakable style is here for all to see on the track he also plays a Warrick bass part and Spanish guitar on the track just to show what a versatile musician he really is.

On the remixes i have gone for a deep techy type of style and regular producer on the label 'Rampus' gives you one in his usual disco type of style and also a really cool techy mix.

Paul would like to thank KC and Crom for all their hard work recording his parts in Radium Studios, Manchester, and for writing the beats and percussion parts for the track. Also a massive thanks to his good friend Rachael for dropping into the studio to lay some really cool vocal parts down.
