Apart from Connaisseur, Simon has recently been signed up to German top House label Playhouse, and has also been picked by Steve Lawler as his worldwide support DJ. For us, he opens his Pandoras box of production and delivers a masterpiece of current club music. The Fly is dominated by a vertiginous groove and an enormously driving percussion work. Step by step, this track builds up in a pushing way and subtly ascends to its peak with never over-the-top, almighty bright synths to set the dancefloor into a hypnotic mental dance state. My My remix the friendly Berlin-trio gives The Fly a completely different treatment. It creates a more than charming funky atmosphere and crowns this with a fabulous freestylish organ part in the end. An open air sure shot.
