Foxtrot Alpha Recordings are very pleased to introduce our new artist STRAKER
Steve Line AKA STRAKER began making music in London whilst still at school. He played in bands and started creating music with very basic drum machines and synthesizer's. Things became more serious when he and a co producer were given the chance of releasing the Trance track Cascade on the Tide label (part of undercover music ltd). The track was played by many top DJ's. For the past few years Steve has been teaching Music Technology and producing other bands and artists with many different genres and styles. Steve has now relocated to Weymouth in Dorset and now continues to produce and make music under the moniker Straker, recording from his garden studio The Park.
1. Lifetime (Original Mix)
The original Straker mix could be described as a cross between: Maze, Bookashade, vs Beloved and Bedrock. It's a dreamy hypnotic and techy soundscape. With classy production written all over it. Floaty bass synths, heavenly pads, smooth crisp drums and a fantastic arrangement. Suited for all electronica moments on and off the dancefloor.
2. Lifetime (Ten Bob Remix)
Kevin AKA: Ten Bob has been doing the rounds for a while now with his adventurous and clever remix and production skills. This mix clearly demonstrates a lively, progressive uplifting journey. Picking up the pace with his remix and really working the melodic piano keys in all the right places. Ideal for eyes closed, underground euphoric moments.
3. Lifetime (Steiger Remix)
This man hardly needs an introduction. Originally 1 half of 90's act SLACKER. Simon has released some amazing tracks, signed to labels such as: Skint, SL & Bedrock. His mix is great reflection on where he is right now with his production skills. The Steiger mix is big underground, progressive monster. Full of emotion, deep and magical, euphoric moments.
4. Lifetime (J-Me Griffiths Remix)
Foxtrot Alpha Recordings label boss and Ex Hybrid member is back again. Delivering a stunning, progressive breakbeat remix. Flowing with melodic elements, crisp and tight (Trixta) drum programming and deep warm basses. J-Me has managed to capture the essence of the original mix, while also taking it to a new futuristic level with his production skills. Ideal for those epic main room sets.
