House Music has always been blessed with some of the greatest vocalists ever to serenade the dance floor. The original was a Disco Funk Soul-infused slow burn that showcased a vocal prowess that was effervescent, complex and gloriously intoxicating. When the song came to the attention of Carrera, he seized the opportunity to give it a dedicated re-rub with some of that deep four-on-the-floor special sauce. Turning up the BPM and adding jacked up beats, dynamic keys, funky guitars and a rounded bass, Carrera also gave LaMay the space that allowed her vocals to sit majestically above the track.
