The one and only Kevin Knapp is back on Desert Hearts Records with two groove infused tracks. Through his unique style and talent as both a DJ and producer he has forged his path to the forefront of the global house music scene, where his music is sought after and celebrated everywhere from fabric London to Kater Blau Berlin via Circo Loco Ibiza and Sonar Barcelona. But Kevin is not only known for his cutting edge music. He is also cherished for his generous, fun and kind personality which has made him an important part of the Desert Hearts family. Another reason why we are so happy to welcome him back with his fourth release "IDGAF" on the label.

"IDGAF" sets the tone from the first beat. The title track carries a lot of attitude with a bouncy bassline and sweeping synths. Kevin's characteristic vocals carry the track's message as it dynamically moves along the groove, while the contrast between the dreamy and raw synths create a goosebump inducing tension in the break.

"Raw Cuts" shows us another side of Kevin. A more intricate drum work sets the scene for the house infused chords, giving the track a funky and upbeat vibe. The vocals let us know what's what before a smooth saxophone joins the fun. This tune moves in a more playful style, showcasing Kevin Knapp's genre transcending skills. And we are all here for it!
