"I guess this EP is like a soundtrack to my life in the last year or so, tapping into different emotions and moods. Music making for me is about processing life and translating experiences into sound.

I made “Vroom Vroom” after a trip to Guatemala where I made a bunch of field recordings and collaged them together in this track. Some of my closest friends and fam and I spent ages in front of a Maya pyramid in Tikal, clapping and listening to the weirdest echoes bounce back and that’s what you can hear in the track. It was also insanely humid and hot in that jungle, an oppressive atmosphere i’m reminded of in “Vroom Vroom”.
“Revelation” is an interlude embracing the randomness and chaos going on in my neurodiverse brain. I approached making this one like a making a paper collage.
“Mamie” was made in grief.
The flip side to “Mamie” definitely is “Boss Bish” which channels the energy I’ve been manifesting lately. The boss bish energy is about being chill af, unbothered, collected and strong, going about life from a place of power, while fighting the patriarchy like a boss.
