Outside of Berlin Dora Brilliant belongs to the small amount of clubs within the German house and techno community with a very eclectic music program. During the past 6 years it has become a credible institution for artists from labels like Dial, Perlon and Ostgut Ton. The vital and active local scene in Frankfurt is one of the reasons for the clubs ongoing success since it continues to provide the musical basis for great parties (almost) every weekend. In this sense to follow up an own label to the clubs agenda is more than consistent.

Freimund - Freischwimmer 54 is the first release to be published on Dora Brilliant.

Freimund is the alias and middle name of Ludwig Röhrscheid an only 18­year ­old producer from Frankfurt am Main. He has proven an affinity with his musical roots by showing a talent for delicate and atmospheric arrangements which made him theperfect choice for (the three tracks of) our debut. Along with Ludwig Röhrscheid a whole new generation which grew up with electronic music has stepped in the arena.
