SUPREME RHYTHM

With creations that go beyond the limitations of existence Supreme Rhythm come forth as a dynamic duo which has surely introduced a newly vibrant electronic sound and has rapidly grew into a greater depth in the local and international dance scene. Supreme Rhythm consists of DJMreja (Reginald Katlego Ndou) & Neuvikal Soule (Prosper Thabo Maluleke) all the way from Johannesburg in one of the oldest townships of South Africa.

The collective comes as no new comer in the block with a number of releases on labels such as House Afrika, Seres Producoes, Open Bar Music, Aluku Records, Bodikela Recordings, Kazakuta Records, Gondwana & DM Recordings. Their distinctive sound has earned them a feature on the Sónar festival Compilation Mixed by Black Coffee with their song titled “Control Room”, which had great support from the likes of DJ Shimza, Afro Tura & Paso Doble.

In 2018 the duo got an opportunity to be featured on a remix EP which featured Durban based and well acclaimed vocalist known as Lizwi and producer DeepQuestic, In which their remix “Wash’umuzi (DJMreja & Neuvikal Soule)” became one of the highly anticipated favorite on the package and found itself making its way on a number of charts on Traxource. They followed up with another smashing remix that defined their electronic sound and became another favorite under Kenyan based record label Gondwana, the remix “Warere (DJMreja & Neuvikal Soule Afro Tech Remix)”.

Through high anticipation with the start of 2019 was the beginning of another year filled with nothing but the best of what they can offer with their blazing sounds making another with another featured remix “Blessings (DJMreja & Neuvikal Soule Remix)” that found high support and recognition and managed to make through a number of various charts on Traxsource.

It was in no time the duo were featured on House Afrika’s well acclaimed series of compilations known as Mzansi House. They held it down on Mzans House Vol.10 earning themselves 2 Albums (DJMreja & Neuvikal Soule – The Revival / Supreme Rhythm – Sentimental Affair) which went into greater depth of emphasizing the extent of their prolific sound.
