Lady Named Tracie aka DJ Dream
Former Music Coordinator of the Mr. & Miss Black Michigan Pageants during the late 80's & early 90's a few years before performing in opening auditions for a local motorcycle club (OutKast) which soon after made her a requested top 40 DJ within urban Detroit. Her first guest spot appearance was at an after hours promoted by DJ Cent (WJLB FM 98 Club Insomnia). She has contributed her DJ services to many well known venues since the mid 90's within Metropolitan Detroit. Having the need & desire to expand on her underground music ideas, & finding her concept of house & techno not easily accepted by other labels for release, Lady Named Tracie independently founded the eclectic & unique record label Double Glass Entertainment in 2012. Contributors to the label include: Gari Romalis, B. Jinx,Bad Beats'87, LeSoul WaAfrica & Lady Named Tracie. Her DJing influences: (Detroit legendary DJ's), Producer(s) & Promoters The late Ken Collier (Heavens Night Club), Melvin "Raw House" Hill, John "Jammin" Collins (Submerge), Allan "Al" Ester, Stacey "Hotwaxx" Hale (God Mother of House), (the late) K-Hand, Strong Arm Prod. & Pink Ice Ent. Music Production influences & Inspiration: The originators of Techno (Detroit) Juan Atkins, Derrick May & Kevin Saunderson. MAW Records, Strictly Rhythm Records, Nervous Records, Cajual Records, Crystal Waters, Kraftwerk, Prince, Janet Jackson & Madonna. Past Detroit Night Clubs/Bars (Residency): The Palladium, Off Broadway East, Mr. Mikes & (Briefly) the Woodward, Sunset Strip, Sting & All Stars.
