CHARLES GATLING

DJ/Producer Charles Gatling of Raw Substance originally from Newark, NJ, Now based out of Charlotte NC. After 20 some years of DJing, Charles turned into production in 2001 with the assistance of his partner John Crockett. Charles and John created the production company Working Underneath and had releases out on numerous labels before creating their own label Haus Flor Recordings. After several years with Working Underneath, Charles launched his own label Raw Substance and moved from New Jersey to Charlotte NC. His goal is to continue releasing Electronic, AfroLatin, Deep and Funky Grooves.
